"What is FreeRun ?"
"Free run" is a winemaking term and it refers to the juice that naturally flows from freshly crushed grapes before any mechanical pressing. This juice is released under the grapes' own weight and is highly valued for its purity and gentle extraction.
Free run juice is often considered superior because it has lower levels of tannins and other harsher compounds that can be extracted during pressing. It typically results in wines that are softer, more delicate, and aromatic. Many winemakers use free run juice exclusively for premium wines to highlight its exceptional quality and refined character.
